 :spyedvsjark: dA gets more and more corporate every day. This is the last straw; I'm taking down my gallery. If someone starts a better art community that isn't based around selling prints, robbing the artist, and advertising for Viagra, let me know.

There was a time not too long ago where dA was for the most part free, and not choked with ads for those of us with enough sense not to pay. Users who wished to contribute to the cause could do so freely, though all it got them was a sense or recognition bestowed by way of a different symbol in front of said user's name. These users were the minority, yet not uncommon, and were usually the more senior members who people could look to for advice. In those days, the strength of the site was in the community. Sadly, those days are gone, along with some of the sense of artistic community that was once a critical aspect of the site. For now, Devi
